By practicing YOGA posture on the Balance Balls, you can improve your proprioceptor of the spine and each joint of the body. This method is supported by medical evidence to improve your posture and movement dramatically. Created by the Japanese founder, Hironori Ikeda MS.c Sports Medicine @ Univ of Tsukuba. Balance Ball Yoga is stability focused postural exercises that are now being taught to pro sports teams, incorporated into rehabilitation programs in hospitals and universities by accredited instructors in over 25 countries. 

(Proprioception also known as Kinaesthesia, it is an understanding of self movement and body position).


Medical Evidence shows that Balance Ball YOGA® make great improvement of your spine

This medical evidence paper shows that the structure of the spine has had great improvement after 6 months of Balance Ball YOGA® training. As an example, we had a client who was born with congenital hip joint and scoliosis, therefore he has difficulty walking from a young age. Our client took Balance Ball YOGA course at 15 years old and had a 6month training regime that included every weekend, this dramatically helped our client in day to day life as it naturally realigned their spine. Our client can now walk in a natural movement. In regards to more intense sporting our client does still have difficulty however now all daily activities are possible. Our client is now the youngest Accredited Balance Ball YOGA instructor focusing on Scoliosis and other mild disabled people.

Realign your posture by focusing on proprioceptor

Balance ball YOGA exercises have been created by the motion analysis of the yoga, dance, and top sports athlete performance focusing on sports medicine point of view. We put this knowledge into balance ball exercises, which means how to move your spine with proper posture in every single movement. It is then followed by connecting optimal movement between the spine with joints to encourage the best posture and prevent faulty movement patterns by strengthening weaker areas.

Maximize the potential of your movement

After training the spine and joint movements in the basic course, you will be trained to smooth and intuitive movement called a dynamic fluid movement. Improved recovery ability and agility when you lose balance will bring your profession to a higher level. We have been analyzing the movement of a top athlete with a sports medicine point of view, this knowledge is incorporated into balance ball lessons. This course is recommended for those who want to improve their profession.

Dynamic Fluid Movement Course

Maximize the potential of your posture and Dynamic Fluid Movement 

In this course, each body segment is linked to the optimal movement of the spine and joints to encourage an immense stable and strong posture. In addition, We will gain dynamic fluid movement by educating your movements that do not lose balance in the process of movement from the next movement.

An in-depth look at your Body and History of imbalance and pain

Analyzing your movement through Balance Ball YOGA will allow us to help guide your next step to improve posture and movement. We begin with taking a look at past issues (injuries, accidents) you may have had and how your body is feeling. Once we acknowledge where impairments lie, we determine whether the source of the pain is in the same region, or whether the cause of the pain is found elsewhere (reference pain).

We have 2 methods to improve your posture and movement

The founder or accredited instructors will analyze the postures and movements during balance ball yoga lessons from a sports medicine point of view and introduce two methods to improve your posture and movements.

First method - We re-educate your proprioceptor to realign your posture and Movement 

If your faulty movement pattern is due to poor proprioceptive sense, the founder or certified instructor will provide appropriate training to realign your posture and movement. This method makes a positive impact on your proprioceptor, therefore your posture and movement will be naturally re-educated. this method is not only effective in realign posture but also has positive effects on post-operative rehabilitation and posture education for the child. 

Second method - We offer Motion Analysis Clinical Massage to realign your posture and movement

If you have pain in some specific movement or  limited range of motion in joint during our lesson, we offer Remedial Massage called Motion Analysis Clinical Massage as the next step to release pain and realign your posture and movement. Our massage is done only qualified massage therapist who knows myofascial therapy, Deep Tissue massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and knowledge of medicine.

Become a teacher of Balance Ball YOGA method to correct other's posture and movement 

Accredited Balance Ball Yoga instructors are required to completely master over 500 Balance Ball exercises with the knowledge of sports medicine. This would allow you to work under the direction of the Pro Sports team, Sports Gym, Yoga studio, or Hospital to provide optimal health care to improve a client’s posture and movement.

Requirements and use of the official certificate

Certified Balance Ball YOGA teachers required to master over 100 exercises with the knowledge of biomechanics, functional anatomy and sports medicine, also need the ability to teach this method according to each student's posture, movement, and athletic ability. After you are a certified teacher by our Founder Hironori Ikeda, you can give Balance Ball YOGA - Posture improvement course official certificate to your students.

Qualified lessons with knowledge of Functional Anatomy and Sports Medicine 

Our lessons are only taught by the founder or those who are accredited as instructors.

Lessons for those who do not have knowledge of functional anatomy and sports medicine are less effective and may cause injury during the lesson. Some are teaching our balance ball yoga without taking certified instructor training. We never accept those who are missing anatomical knowledge to teach Balance Ball YOGA methods.

Our method can be taught only accredited instructors/teachers with qualified teaching skills and knowledge of Medicine. After you have lessons, you will have a Balance Ball YOGA certificate with the name of the founder and accredited instructor.
