Soon after beginning this Balance Ball Yoga Basic Course, you will start to experience many benefits: better coordination, improved concentration, enhanced strength and more efficient movements in your daily life. This has a positive impact on the way you connect with the world around you.
All the exercises in Balance Ball Yoga utilise a wide range of muscles while your body realises the importance of having a neutral spine and your posture improves dramatically. You learn how to use all parts of your body equally and effectively. Step by step you will understand the resources your body has and realise your individual potential. The knowledge you acquire through Balance Ball Yoga is tailored to suit your specific needs in accordance with your profession and/or lifestyle.
After discovering the location of your Body Core and learning how your body alignment balances when using your spine, you learn dynamic movements to improve spine coordination. Basic anatomy is also taught for a fuller understanding of correct posture and movement. For example, students learn the direction of muscle fibres and the bio-mechanics of the joints.
During each class your instructor closely observes your approach to the exercises and assesses your movement. The Balance Ball Yoga exercises are then tailored to suit your individual requirements. All the Balance Ball Yoga exercises have been developed to improve your posture and movement. Stretches (individual and with partner) are also used to maximize the benefits of the exercises. These stretches (Thai Healing Art School style) are designed to work in accordance with your individual ROM (Range Of Motion) and level of flexibility.
We accept students from all over the world regardless of gender, age and physical fitness. Everyone can succeed and build self-confidence, as progress is an individual journey rather than a competition. Each student works individually with a Balance Ball to improve personal coordination, strength and concentration. No one is forced beyond his/her ability or comfort level. You will never be left alone without assistance from the instructor.
